Fall Into Reflecive Practice Online (zoom) workshop Friday November 26th, 2021, 6pm - 9pm MST
History
I love maps. My father collected maps and literature, and perhaps I got my penchant for maps from him. I love drawing them. I use big loopy circular lines to connect the dots. I love going backwards and forwards in time by using maps. One of my favourite tools is to create a map of a past period, like 3 or 6 months. I like to write the names of people whose lives I celebrated or deaths I mourned. I say their names again and give their memories life. I draw little lakes in my map to symbolize when I was floating in the water and holding my head above it. I invite my memory to jog along with places that I visited and revisit them.
I invite you to share my map making refective practice with me on Friday, November 26th, 2021.
